Then there’s the question of who is going to catch you, and if caught, one has to be particularly devious to be able to get away with it. Even if one is as powerful a Member of Parliament and cabinet minister as Maurice Hamilton.

“Two reports.” She then regretted being so blunt and quickly picked up on the fact that he wanted to be told something rather than having to read it. “And we both agree that there’s an IRA link to his assassination in three days’ time.”
